Please see details below (I know its long, but it is important):

Now for the fine print:
So pay attention!!

Most people and companies can't make a deal like this and get the item to you in one piece. It's certainly more complicated than shipping "beanie babies"!!!

Apollo Amusements is a legitimate full time business with three brick-and-mortar locations. We have all the facilities to best prepare your game for a safe ride to you and to ensure service after the sale. We have shipped over 750 pinball or arcade machines since 1987.

In fact many people who originally purchased machines from us are re-selling them on “eBay”, or through their “new company” websites.

Most sellers on-line are private collectors themselves and are unable to help if something happens to your game during shipping.

All of our games have a 30-day warranty (on the CPU board only). Our local customers receive it, so why shouldn't you?

We are very proud of our technical staff, but it is obvious we can't make service calls to Timbuktu!! Therefore, in the event of a failure, you must be willing to either stick your hands in the game or employ someone else to do it. We can, and will, talk you through the process. We also provide a lifetime telephone support for our customers.

Most sellers will not tell you what I am telling you!!! They want you to believe their game is "mint" and will never break. Obviously that's impossible! I can assure you every seller who ships a game puts it on a pallet crosses his fingers, curls his toes, and prays until it gets there!

Remember!! In many cases you are purchasing an old coin-operated computer equipment that is 15+ years old. How old is your computer? How old will it be when you replace it? It certainly isn’t as old as a Galaga. That game was produced in 1980!

Please temper your expectations.  Keep them in context and you will not be disappointed.

Having said all that, you can believe me when I say: “Every game we sell goes through a rigid series of tests and a complete checklist to insure that it is location quality before it leaves our facilities.”

All of our pinball and arcade machines are "shopped out" to the fullest extent.  That means we disassemble and clean all playfield fixtures, strip the playfield of the old wax and dirt, re-wax and polish playfield and replace every rubber ring.

Remember!!!! All of these games are on our showroom floors and may be purchased at any time; however should the reserve price be met the game will be sold to the eBay highest bidder!

Warranty:

All our games have a 30-day warranty (on the CPU board only!!) Therefore mechanical machines (games WITHOUT solid state electronics) cannot be warranted.

In the event of a malfunctioning game follow the following procedure:

(1) You must contact us immediately upon discovering a problem.

(2) You must be able to be our eyes and ears and accept instruction from our technical staff!

Most problems are simply a lose connection!!

(3) If the problem is still unsolved: Only under the advice of our tech, the CPU board maybe sent back to us (at THE CUSTOMERS EXPENSE) for service. The board is then tested, repaired (if needed), OR replaced.  The board is sent back to the customer (at OUR EXPENSE).

(4) If the board checks out AND the problem still exists: In most cases, this is the time for an outside tech. Again, warranty DOES NOT COVER ANY OUTSIDE SERVICE TECHS under any circumstances. However we do broaden the warranty to cover most parts. Customer is responsible for shipping charges, in both directions, of large or heavy parts. In other words; TV monitors, etc.)

Other exemptions to our warranty:

(1) Any solid state Gottlieb pinball manufactured before 1984

(2) Any cd-rom based games.

(3) Any laser disk game.

Local sale (list geographic territory)

All conditions apply except you may choose to have us come to you on a warranty service call. That is a 1/2 price service call during the first 30 days of ownership.

A note from the owner (me, John Russo):

I realize that this warranty might sound a little unfriendly; unfortunately there are people out there that have taken advantage of my good nature. I wish it were not so, but it is. So for those people I have to be perfectly clear about what is covered and what is not covered.

It is my goal to please all of my customers.

Having started as a collector myself, I understand the frustration and embarrassment of having friends come over and the "new toy" you just bought doesn't work. So when you get your machine I want you contact me with your opinion (good or bad). If there is a problem I will go out of my way to stretch the boundaries of the warranty for those who conduct themselves in a professional and business-like manner.

WARRANTY MAY BECOME VOID IF THE STEPS OUTLINED ABOVE ARE NOT FOLLOWED!

Apollo Amusements may not be the cheapest dealer out there but we definitely know what we are doing.

That definitely IS worth any difference in price.

Our staff is trained to be customer-oriented and they are here to serve you. But, if for some reason you feel you are not getting the right treatment, call me personally!!!!
